I wanted my designs to incorporate photography, and look at everyday items to see how they could be used to capture the style of music and the theme it has been given, through its name.
Drop Pin
This design is an abstract play on the 'map applications' which we use on our smart phones. Covering the globe in 'drop pins' to represent any location, anywhere as well as enhancing the question 'Where have you gone' through no specific part of the world being highlighted.
How was it made
Each drop pin was individually placed by myself into a foam sphere and progression photos were maintained, close to 2000 pins were used to make this side of the earth.
